Yesterday worked out great. I stuck to all parts of my plan. I hope and plan to repeat yesterday, today.
Last night, when I got home, I made spaghetti. Ive been craving it. Weve had a chill in the air in the morning and in the evening which encourages me to cook. I love this kind of weather. My spaghetti is one of the things my son loves too. It is sauce out of a jar, and I add stuff to it. I called my son, who is in the National Guard, and told him what I was cooking. He said ...

I am going to try to lose 25 pounds by Christmas.
It is a reasonable goal and I will need to stay focused to do it.
The trouble seems to be that I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs.

So my plan will be to lose this 5 pounds that I keep going up and down, and then really focus until another 5 lb is gone. Weekends are my down fall, but if I exercise and stay focus, I will beat this 5 lbs.
I have my meals planned for the week.

TGIF! The weekend is ahead. Looming before me will be a lot of choices I need to make about eating.

I will need to chant "nothing tastes as good as it looks on me" or however that saying goes.
Tonight, we are having friends over for dinner. My daughter and her fiancé will be there too. I am making orange chicken (a weight watcher's recipe). This is my husband's birthday dinner that he didn't get on his birthday.

I've planned out my work day, my exercise, my meals, and just about anything else that I can think of. Things go smoother when I plan this stuff out. But it is sometimes hard to stick to your plans.

For example, tomorrow for dinner, we are supposed to have wild mushroom soup. Well, I'm not too keen on mushrooms

, but my husband likes them. So, even though I know that tomorrow, I'm supposed to eat the soup, I'll probably have leftovers from tonights dinner (marinated mediterrian chicken).

Time. . . . there never seems to be enough of it.
If I could get up earlier, slept less, then I'd have more time. I was up early this morning 0600 and at work by 0700. I have my work day planned out, I have my meals planned and my exercise planned. AND, I feel tired. Now, I have the time, but not the energy. I need some ice tea. That will wake me up.
