Yesterday worked out great. I stuck to all parts of my plan. I hope and plan to repeat yesterday, today.

Last night, when I got home, I made spaghetti. I’ve been craving it. We’ve had a chill in the air in the morning and in the evening which encourages me to cook. I love this kind of weather. My spaghetti is one of the things my son loves too. It is sauce out of a jar, and I add stuff to it. I called my son, who is in the National Guard, and told him what I was cooking. He said ...

25 pounds by Christmas

I am going to try to lose 25 pounds by Christmas.

It is a reasonable goal and I will need to stay focused to do it.

The trouble seems to be that I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs. :bang: So my plan will be to lose this 5 pounds that I keep going up and down, and then really focus until another 5 lb is gone. Weekends are my down fall, but if I exercise and stay focus, I will beat this 5 lbs.

TGIF! The weekend is ahead. Looming before me will be a lot of choices I need to make about eating.:cross3: I will need to chant "nothing tastes as good as it looks on me" or however that saying goes.:help:

Tonight, we are having friends over for dinner. My daughter and her fiancé will be there too. I am making orange chicken (a weight watcher's recipe). This is my husband's birthday dinner that he didn't get on his birthday.:rock1:

Planning

I've planned out my work day, my exercise, my meals, and just about anything else that I can think of. Things go smoother when I plan this stuff out. But it is sometimes hard to stick to your plans. :cross2: For example, tomorrow for dinner, we are supposed to have wild mushroom soup. Well, I'm not too keen on mushrooms :afraid2:, but my husband likes them. So, even though I know that tomorrow, I'm supposed to eat the soup, I'll probably have leftovers from tonights dinner (marinated mediterrian chicken).

Too Little Time

Time. . . . there never seems to be enough of it.

If I could get up earlier, slept less, then I'd have more time. I was up early this morning 0600 and at work by 0700. I have my work day planned out, I have my meals planned and my exercise planned. AND, I feel tired. Now, I have the time, but not the energy. I need some ice tea. That will wake me up.
