I've planned out my work day, my exercise, my meals, and just about anything else that I can think of. Things go smoother when I plan this stuff out. But it is sometimes hard to stick to your plans.

For example, tomorrow for dinner, we are supposed to have wild mushroom soup. Well, I'm not too keen on mushrooms

, but my husband likes them. So, even though I know that tomorrow, I'm supposed to eat the soup, I'll probably have leftovers from tonights dinner (marinated mediterrian chicken).
You may wonder, why would someone plan to have something they didn't like? Well, last night, we made this Shrimp Noodle bowl. I'm not fond of shrimp

, but I did like the vegetables and noodles in the bowl. It was very easy to make (dinner in 20 minutes). It was filling. I ate some of the shrimp, and gave the rest to the dog. I figure, this way, my hubby can have something he will like and I won't over eat. Even when I plan a meal, if it is something I like, I can over eat it.
I need to plan meals with more fish. I like tuna, hallibut, salmon and cod. Trout is ok. It is hard to plan because I like my fish fresh and the only thing fresh in Utah is the trout or bass. I don't mind grilling up some hallibut steaks or salmon on the grill, but it means that I have to go to the store after work to make sure the fish is fresh. And then it comes down to time. . . .who has any time?
Well, speaking of time, time to get to work now.

Time is one of those problems in planning but you seem to be getting it down. That is nice of you to think of your DH. Have a great day.
