View CWCEBMEY's food & exercise for this day

I haven't been feeling all that well. I was sick last week. Today was the first day that my stomach did not hurt after eating. I went out to lunch with a friend and had Mexican food (my favorite). I was very full after the late lunch. So full, that when I got home, I just changed my clothes and worked out.

Working out suppresses my appetite. After a while, I did eat a little bit more.

The weather here as been snow, snow, and more snow. It usually does not snow that much. But this year, it has been a lot.

Work has been going great. The hospital has been going through a lot of changes. But my work remains interesting. Every day is a different day with a different set up problems and challenges. The best thing about not being a manager any more is that I can work normal hours. When I managed MFM (almost 2 years ago), it was very stressful. Manage your budget, manage your staff, manage the schedule, deal with patient complaints, deal with doctors, deal with staff problems, etc. And I had the midwifery department as well. MFM had 3 sites, which meant 3 budgets, 3 staffs. So in reality, my job as a compliance manager is a cake walk. I may have 4 hospitals and some clinics, but I do not have staff, I do not have to worry about a budget, coming up with department goals, etc. I no longer have to be the one to hold staff accountable, hire or fire, I do not have to motive, hold staff meetings, or deal with folks who don't want to work.

Well, I've got other things to do. Time to go.

Hey, I :heart2: your penguin! and I :heart2: mexican too - goad it didn't make your belly hurt. I definitely eat better on the days that I work out too - don't want to undo all that exercise! Now, I would have thought that Salt Lake City Utah got a lot of snow normally (cause its always such good skiing, right) -- but that shows you how well I know my geography. Whoo hoo to finding your work interesting.
