I just got back from the doctor's office. Two problems, my Ac1 was 7.3 and my weight was up 3 pounds from May's visit. BUT, the good news is that he took me off one of my blood pressure medications. I have been off one of the BP meds for about a month and today's BP was 102/71. . . I am happy about that.
I need to recommit myself to losing this weight and getting healthier. Last week, I only exercised twice. Obviously, I need to do better than that. I should have exercised this morning, but was too lazy. I wasn't too tired. I just did not want to go to the gym. Tonight, I will go to the gym.
My next doctor's appointment is in April. I'm thinking I need to set some small goals. Lose some weight BEFORE the holidays. Thanksgiving is 5 weeks away. . . so it would be reasonable to lose between 5-10 pounds during that 5 weeks. My goal will be 7. This morning, I was 248. By Thanksgiving, I WILL be 241. By Christmas, 4 weeks later, I'll have another goal of another 5 pounds, putting me at 237. I am writing these goals down on my calendar and computer.
