Well, Thanksgiving is here. My goal was to lose 7 pounds by this day and be 141. Today, my weight is 246.6. So what happened.Friday, November 21st 2008
I stepped on the scale this morning to see how I was doing on my 7 pound challenge by Thanksgiving. This morning, on my bathroom scale, I was 240.2 I haven't seen that number is a very long time. In fact, I can't remember when I last saw that number. But since the goal was to weigh 241 by Thanksgiving, should I still keep this goal or should I say I've achieved it. Thanksgiving is a week away and I could gain 2 pounds by then.Wednesday, November 19th 2008
Today is the weigh in day for my hubby and me. My mini goal was to lose half as much as he does. He got on the scale. He has lost 6 pounds this week. Did I lose half of his weight loss?????

YES I DID!!!!

I had to take my dog to the vet this morning. Last night, when I came home, she was limping. I checked her paw, thinking a thorn might be in there, but it was clear. She wasn't supporting any weight on it. But it didn't seem to hurt her. She usually jumps up on the bed at night. This morning, when I woke up, she was still on the floor.Monday, November 17th 2008
Well, I can honestly say that I'm am still committed to losing weight. This weekend, Saturday was harder to hit my burn calorie target. Sunday, I was able to go to the gym, rake a bunch of leaves up in the back yard, finish the housework, and get the laundry done. If the weather is nice, I'm happy to go outside and get some fresh air and do something to burn calories, pull weeds, rake leaves, whatever. But if teh weather is raining or their is snow on the ground, I'm going to have to think a...« Previous
