Monday, Jun 1 2009 - Time to Get Remotivated!
View CWCEBMEY's food & exercise for this day
I have just stayed the same in my weight for about the past 3 months. . . . I need to remotivate myself and lose this weight. The good news is that I have not gained the weight back. But I have been exercising on a regular basis. But, I'm going to be honest. My exercise regime has been weak. I haven't been pushing myself. Some of it is laziness and some of it is physical pain. My right foot, calf, and knee have been hurting.
Today, I did the elliptical for 30 minutes. Then my feet started to tingle. Not wanting any nerve damage I stopped.
Being honest. . . I could have gotten out of bed sooner so that when my feet started to tingle, I would have had time to switch to the treadmill, or workout with some weights.
My diet has sucked as well. It isn't a mystery as to why I have remained the same weight. My workouts are not as intense or as long as they should be. My diet is "eating out is ok, as long as you exericise."
So today, I begin with starting over. Today I did workout, but I need to get up earlier so that I can workout longer when my feet start to tingle. There are other activities that I can do that will not further injure my foot or leg. Although I still do not like to exericse, it seems to be the easiest thing in this weight loss journey.
The most difficult part of this journey is the planning. Planning my meals. If I did a better job of planning my meals and sticking to the plan, I would be losing this weight. Instead, I have been spinning my wheels (and I'm not talking a spinning class) and working out only to not gain any weight from poor choice and poor planning.
My new goal will be to lose 10 pounds this month. . . . I would like to be under 200 by my birthday. This is a reasonable goal.
In order to achieve my goal, I will need to do the following (ranked in order of importance and difficulty)
1. Plan all meals and snacks.
2. Implement meal and snack plan.
3. Stick to the plan.
4. Exercise.
Obviously, this is all about the other 23 hours of the day when I am not exercising. I need to be in control of food and not the other way around.
