View CWCEBMEY's food & exercise for this day
So why is it that when I do not work out, I'm not very hungry throughout the day. But when I do work out, I feel hunger.

Yesterday, I did not work out.

My breakfast was a Dannon yogurt (80 cals), followed by a philly cheese steak sandwich, and spaghetti for dinner. . . total cals. . . 1250. Way under the target.
Today, while I was running on the treadmill, I was feeling hunger pains.

As is my normal routine, I do not eat before the workout (I just want to get it over with). Then I just want to hurry and get ready for work - so still no food in the system. By the time I do get to work, I've got other stuff to do, so eventually, I manage to get a yogurt or oatmeal or something. So far today, I had a yogurt and some pretzels. I'm hungry and it isn't a mystery as to why. It is almost lunch time and I'm waiting for my hubby to call and go to lunch.
I had fewer calories yesterday (by this same time) and was not hungry. I've had a few more today and I am hungry.
Wouldn't it be nice if one of the benefits from working out would be to suppress my appetite. . . At least in my morning workouts. If I exercise in the evening (before dinner), then it seems to suppress my appetite. I'm too tired to cook or eat.
I'm hungry now, so I'm going to eat an apple

and continue to wait for my hubby to call.
