Today's Motivation: Fighting for My Life. This is about getting healthy. This is about fighting those temptations, bad habits, and unhealthy decisions that I have made over my life. I need to fight for my future.
I achieved all of yesterday's goal except for 60 minutes of exercise. Exercising in the evening is not something that comes easily to me. . . but I did exercise in the morning and I did complete my menu plan and all of my choices were good.
Today - it is about my health. I want to live a long life. And if I'm going to do that, I'm going to need to lose this weight. I want to stay positive about where I am today. I've been heavier and felt worse. I've been lighter and felt better. But it is today that I need to focus on. Today is what I have. Yesterday has past and if I want a tomorrow, I've got to focus on what am I going to do today that will make my future better.
Fight the temptation for unhealthy snacks.
Fight the temptation to say "I be better tomorrow" or "I'll start over tomorrow."
Fight the temptation to stay seated and get up and move!
Fight the physical pain of being overweight.
Fight the mental / emotional pain of being overweight.
Today's Goals:
Stick to the grocery list
Make dinner tonight.
Exercise for 30 minutes.
Exercise is key to losing weight.
Exercise is key to managing my diabetes.
Exercise is key to managing stress in my life.
Exercise is key to my well being.
Exercise is key to being successful.

It is all about TODAY. We can't change yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet. And although I'm not diabetic, I agree with you about the exercise.
