Today's Motivation: Keep On Moving! It is Friday! Yeah. . . . along with that yeah, I did not want to get out of bed and exercise. BUT, I did. Because I slept in a little bit longer than I intended, I had to really walk fast on the treadmill to get 1.5 miles done.
Thank goodness I did get up and exercise, because I am beginning to want to go back to my old ways. You start off with great intentions, great motivations, and then by the end of the week. . . you poop out.
On my drive to downtown, I tried to enjoy the journey. But apparently, it is all in the music. And no matter how many times I changed the station, the music was just not doing it for me. And traffic was that "ok, were moving. . . .ok, here's a traffic jam - where did all these people come from - then o,, were moving!"
I did decide that next week, I need to increase my exercise minutes to 45-60. Which means I'm going to have to get up earlier. I have come to the conclusion, that in order for me to actually lose weight, I will need to do more than 30 minutes of exercise each day. 30 minutes seems to either maintain or maybe half a pound. UGH!!! I wish 30 minutes would be enough, but clearly it is not.
