So this weekend was filled with a lot of gardening, housework, and making good choices for eating. My first choice was Saturday lunch. . . I needed to get lunch for my husband and son. They wanted sandwiches, quick and easy. So, I got them sandwiches from the deli and made my own tuna fish sandwich with some strawberries on the side. I saved myself from eating chips and a lot of sodium.

My second choice was Saturday dinner. I was exhausted from working in the yard, and did not have the energy to cook. So, I ordered Famous Dave's BBQ. I limited my portions and still enjoyed the meal with the family in the recently cleaned up back yard. I enjoyed the food, conversation, sound of the water fountains, and newly planted impatients.

Sunday, I had more yard work to do. . . it is never really done. I made a great choice of just ordering the short stack pancakes from IHOP. and dinner. . . . we enjoyed the backyard again with cheeseburgers on the grill. I just ate one cheeseburger (instead of my normal two).

My decisions have not been easy. But at least I am thinking about my decisions and what I want. I want to lose this weight more than I want to do whatever I want when I want. I've gained back a considerable amount and working in the yard, housework or even walking has now become difficult, if not physically painful.

I am hoping to lose another 5 pounds by the end of this month. I am hoping by my birthday, I can be in the 220's. Not that the 220's is any where close to my goal weight, but at that weight, living life was easier.

Nice job! I love gardening too and I can relate the exhaustion/accomplishment feelings you must have had. Great job on getting back on track. Kudos to you!!
