I did not make either of yesterday's goal. Clearly, I need to stay away from the sweets. So the number one goal. . . .stay away from the sweets!

I went for my walk/run today. I almost did not go. I did not put my alarm across the room. I turned off the alarm, stood up, and then bent over with my belly on the bed and my feet on the floor. But then, I reminded myself that I needed to do this and that I would feel good after it was over, so I stood up and walked to the closet to get dres...

I did my goals yesterday. . . walked 30 minutes and set my alarm clock on the other side of the room. I could have done without the homemade oatmeal cookies that my daughter made me for my birthday. Clearly, that put me over my calorie target.

This morning, my alarm went off at 06:30 and I got out of bed to turn it off. 3 more steps and I was at my dresser changing into my exercise clothes. It was almost dawn when I left my home for my walk. Did my little walk with a job here and there...

Monday. . . Again

Another Monday and another day to start over. . . AGAIN. I am finding it very difficult to exercise and it has to do with motivation. About 3 weeks ago, I took the dog for my run-walk (more walking than running). Part of the route is side walk, but the middle of the route is a dirt path. I take the dirt path with the thought of improving my balance. As luck would have it, I took a hard fall and banged myself up pretty good. . . so much for improving my balance! After that, it took a while ...
