View CWCEBMEY's food & exercise for this day
I did my goals yesterday. . . walked 30 minutes and set my alarm clock on the other side of the room. I could have done without the homemade oatmeal cookies that my daughter made me for my birthday. Clearly, that put me over my calorie target.
This morning, my alarm went off at 06:30 and I got out of bed to turn it off. 3 more steps and I was at my dresser changing into my exercise clothes. It was almost dawn when I left my home for my walk. Did my little walk with a job here and there. . . and then I came to my dirt path. I walked on part of the dirt path and then went down the small hill to the back of the garden behind the church. The garden is one of the places that I love being around. They have sunflowers, tomatoes, zucchini, herbs, and PUMPKINS. . .
The pumpkins are in different places, some growing outside of the rows of corn, some are winding their way around the yellow squash. It was a great reminder that Fall is almost here. Orange pumpkins, round and medium, on the ground, waiting to be picked. Waiting to be carved and a candle placed inside.
After my walk, I felt great. I need to remind myself that I will feel great if I get out of bed and move. My pants are still tight, not that I expected anything different. It is a reminder that if I want things to change, I've got to be the change. If I want to lose this weight, I've got to move it.
Today's Goals:
1. Stay within the calorie target
2. Investigate exercise videos for indoor workouts.
