Yesterday, I used my orthotics while working out at the gym. . . while using the orthotics helped my feet from hurting as badly as they normally would after walking on the treadmill, this morning, my calves are aching. Just doing 30 minutes on the treadmill was a killer yesterday. I thought my legs were going to fall off. But, this was my first time using them, so I think I will keep on trying for a while to see if I can make any progress.Monday, March 12th 2007
Well, another Monday. There are 52 of them in a year. Every Monday, I usually start out with a great attitude of doing great. The good thing about this Monday is that last weekend I did well with my eating. Even though we ate out, I did not over do it. My son went out and got some KFC snackers. Well, now that I back from China, I've had a day to rest, I am going to workout tonight at the gym and get back into business. This morning I stepped on the scale and I'm back to my same weight that I was before I left. So I guess I did not gain 2 pounds. It was probably all in my swollen ankles.Wednesday, March 7th 2007
I'm back from China. Beijing was GREAT!!!!! I did a lot of walking and ate well. I only gained 2 pounds, so I did not do too bad. I am still feeling the jet lag. It took 19.5 hours to get from the hotel door to my home. Yesterday was a long, long, long day. My ankles were 3 times their normal size.Friday, February 23rd 2007
I woke up this morning and everything outside is white. When I left for work, there was 6 inches of snow. It is days like these that I wish I could stay at home, make a big pot of soup and a loaf of bread and read a book. But, tonight, when I get home, instead of homemade soup, I'll probably open up a can of soup.
