I have not had any candy today! I have only eaten what is on my food plan. I still need to make the plan out for the rest of the week. Those were the good things. The one thing I could have done better at was to get out of bed sooner than I did. I was awake before the alarm went off. And when the alarm went off, I stayed in bed for 30 minutes. I could have used that 30 minutes to workout for 1 hour instead of the 30 minutes. Tomorrow, I'll do better.Monday, June 1st 2009
I have just stayed the same in my weight for about the past 3 months. . . . I need to remotivate myself and lose this weight. The good news is that I have not gained the weight back. But I have been exercising on a regular basis. But, I'm going to be honest. My exercise regime has been weak. I haven't been pushing myself. Some of it is laziness and some of it is physical pain. My son called last night, well technically, this morning at 0030. . . . he is 11 hours and 30 minutes ahead of my time zone (Mountain). This was his 3rd call home since his deployment. It was great to hear his voice.Wednesday, January 14th 2009
So for the past 4 weeks, I have been up and down within a 3 pound range of the low 230's. Never 229.9, but as low as 230.0 and as high as 233.8. . . . so I am declaring that I have it a plateau. At first, I thought it was my bad behavior with the New Year Holiday and the snacking that went on and on and on. . . . then I thought, water weight, all that dining out and eating spicy foods. . . then a lack of true dedication to working out. After watching Oprah's show on Monday and listening to her talk about her self discovery of why she gained the weight and what she plans to do about it, I have come to conclusion that I can not identify with her. She spoke about loving yourself enough to make time for yourself to exercise, plan meals, etc. At the end of her show, she and her trainer, Bob Green, asked some questions for the viewers to think about and answer. Well, one of the questions was why are you overweight?
