Well, this weekend I ate horribly
I shared a pizza turnover w/ Scott. I have to say it tasted sooo good. I have never had one before. I didn't get to go to the gym at all over the weekend. So I need to get back on track today!!
I have to share something sweet. My son Jacob, had to write a letter about his mom for his class. I read it this weekend. It was so nice. I wanted to cry. I told him I will treasure that forever. He said, "My mom and I really have shared some funny, sad, weird, and silly times together but no matter what, we love each other". He also described my hair, he said, "she has black hair w/ carmel highlights". LOL!! He is so funny. My heart was just about to burst. I thought, Lord who am I to deserve this child? All of my children? I am so grateful. I get so emotional when it comes to my husband and children, in a good way.
So, today, I am having lunch w/Scott. we have a lunch date every Monday. I love it! We can just talk and play catch up for the week. There is so much that goes on during the week and it's nice to have an hour of quiet time to go over our schedules.
My daughter is in this orchestra competition in June. I think it will be fun! when they are done we will all head off to Great Adventure amusement park for the rest of the day. She plays the violin. She has been playing for 2 years. She really likes it and is good at it.
Kayla is also in the drama club at school. This years play is Much Ado About Nothing. They rehearse 3 days a week after school. I believe the play will be performed in May. So, I am excited to see it.
Yesterday, I got my new shirt( for my 10 lb. loss). It wasn't the shirt I was hoping to get but I love this one as well. Scott said he loved it. So, that's what counts.
We still have all this frozen snow everywhere. The weather shows high 60's by Wednesday
Can't wait.

How sweet about your son and his paper and your daughter's competition. Children are such wonderful gifts from God! I hope that you have a wonderful day and thank you for your well wishes!

When my husband has jobs downtown he makes a point of coming by the office and sneeking in a kiss but lunch is a rarity for us. Your have awesome kids, no wonder you are a proud mother.

Monday's are always good days to get back on track. Your son's letter sounds so sweet. You definitely should tuck that one away. I am so excited to see my DH become a Dad - he is going to be awesome.

I love that you and your HB have lunch dates. I remember one time Scott mentioned that having a date with your spouse after you're married is important, that is something I will need to keep in mind for Kevin and I. Great advice from a happily married couple!
