Today Aaron is celebrating Wacky Wednesday. He is so cute. He is wearing....a football helmet( Tennessee Vols ,of course), a soccer shirt and baseball pants. He said he wants a crazy hair-do. I am going in to school today to volunteer in his class. I love doing that.
Tonight we have the BIG meeting for Kayla's 6th grade camping trip. We'll find out what their schedules are and what activities they're doing, etc.. This is the first trip that Kayla will be on w/o us. She's excited about the trip and I am a nervous reck. Hopefully after the meeting I will feel better about it.
Oh, they are going to a camp in Maryland.
The weather has been cloudy and rainy for days. It's crazy. So many of my friends basements were flooded. It was pretty bad around here. Can't wait for the sunshine.
Ok, American Idol fans.....Jordin was amazing. That girl has what it takes. Last nights song was terrific! Good for her.
I didn't hear what next weeks theme is. I am curious.
I am a little frustrated....I have gained 2 lbs. from Easter weekend and I just cant get rid of it. What the heck. I have even lowered my calorie intake and nothing.....Any suggestions? I have been working out and drinking my water.....I don't know.

My daughter is going on her first overnight camp without me at the end of summer, just before she starts 6h grade. Scary! I'm excited for her, though. And, to be honest, excited to have some nights to myself! Enjoy all the excitement!

I've had a tough time lately too. After PMS/TOM is over, I will weigh and see what the damage is. I enjoyed it when my kids were at that age and I had activities with them. Now, the only way to see our kids even though they live at home is to take them out to eat. They are always gone to work or gone to school or gone or asleep or surrounded by a lot of friends!

I wish I could celebrate Wacky Wednesday. Of course I would be a Georgia Bulldog!
:) Weight, especially water weight, is a funny thing--not literally of course! My mom has been trying to lose a few pounds and has been "pristine" with her eating, and she got on the scale today and it showed a 1.5 lb. gain!! I guess that's why we really aren't supposed to weigh more than once a week. Of course I weigh myself daily or close to it, so maybe you'd better not listen to me. I hope the sun comes out Dawn!

Where in Maryland are they going? In sixth grade we did "outdoor ed" at the Smith center.
