Yesterday I had 2 school conferences.
Jacob's was first. His teacher said wonderful things about him. She said he is a high achiever and loves learning new things. She said he is super intelligent. He had received straight A's again. He had only missed 2 days of school this year. So the report was terrific!
Then we headed to Kayla's conference.
Her teachers said she is a super student. They said she has the whole package, she loves school, does all her work, is super smart and loves to work w/ others. They said they can always count on her to get everything done. They said she is very kind and helpful. She also received straight A's and received the Principles Award!!! She also missed 2 days of school so far this year.
So, needless to say we are super proud of them.
Well, sad news. My friend who was to be married in June, they went to a marriage session last week and afterwards HE decided they should not get married. Talk about dropping a bomb on you! Of course she is like @#$%^!!!!! She had almost everything...her dress, the honeymoon was booked, you name it. Now what! It's crazy. I feel really bad for her
Scott and I are trying to recover from hours of gardening over the weekend. Holy cow my legs were hurting! Scott said his hurt so bad it hurt to sit. LOL! Oh well the yard looks so nice. I love it.
Tonight I think I am going to make Chicken Lime Tacos. Yum yum. Last night I made homemade stuffed shells.
Scott and I have been back and forth about moving. The taxes here are crazy!! We pay almost $6000.00 a year! It ridiculous. We are just so undecided about were to move. Any suggestions?

It sounds to me like you have done an excellent job raising to wonderful well rounded children!

Great news on the kids. It is so great when you see good parents get rewarded with good kids. Yes taxes are crazy all over Jersey. My family in North Jersey thought that S. Jersey was cheap to live. Not so, we are currently paying $9,000 a year.

Dawn did you hear the news. Our towns are going to be connected with a bike / walking path. I am very excited that the path is being extended as my miles are increasing.
