View DAWNNSCOTT's food & exercise for this day

Hi All. It has been awhile since I've blogged. I have been so busy. I hope to get a good 15 minutes free to write soon.
There has been so much going on at the schools and sports....
I hope everyone is doing well.
I am gonna go. I am off to take a run:)
Enjoy the day.

3:25pm~

The boys are home and we are just chillin'. Kayla has orchestra until 4pm.

Kayla has to stay after school, with the exception of today, Tues.-Thurs. until 5:30pm for drama rehearsals. The play is June 6th. It is Much Ado About Nothing. They have been working hard. I am excited to see it.

Jacob has a soccer tournament up in PA this weekend. ALL weekend:) So we are packing the cooler w/ waters and fruit.

Talking about fruit. I have been craving some watermelon. The supermarkets have little bitty ones. I guess it's not quite the watermelon season yet:( Last night at church this woman brought us 2 trays of yummy fruit, mango, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, and papayas. It was so good. That's the kind of snack I don't mind eating a lot of.

Today I did bad w/ lunch. I had a personal white veggie pizza. OMG it was so good. So dinner is probably Kashi cereal for me.

I felt good after running/walking this morning. I just enjoy the sunshine. The fresh air just does me good.

My kids are done school soon, June19th. I can't wait to have them home w/ me.

Scott and I went to the Junior H.S. that Kayla will attend this coming year, the other night for a parents meeting. It was sad to see maybe 20 parents there. Why don't parents want to get involved?? I am just amazed. Those are the children who the school needs to worry about. It's sad. This is the most important age and some parents are just not there.
Anyway, Kayla will need to be at school at 7:20am. A big difference from this year, 9am. So early to bed for her. They do have orchestra there so she's happy about that. They also have a drama club. I am sure she'll have a great time in the J.H.S.

Well, I am going to go. Have a great night.

My kids just got out for the summer on May 25th. I'm excited. No more fighting about Bed time. Here it's Elementary, Middle School & High School. Elementary is K-5, MS is 6-8 and HS is 9-12. They have a meeting right before school starts for the kids entering MS. It's nice, usually most of the parents show up. There is thankfully strong parent support here. I think maybe because it's such a small town school and a lot of the parents went here as kids. Enjoy the weekend. :hi:

The drama and soccer sound like fun. I miss those days when my sons were into activities that I could be involved in. Now, they are young adults. I loved it when my sons got out of school for the summer. Now, one son is out of school (really college) and the other is working. I hope that your pond doesn't leak. Ours may have a leak. If so, we are going to fix it this weekend. We really love the pond! :heart1:

I wish they had a parents' night set up in our district so we knew what to expect. Too bad people aren't participating ... Oh, well. The teachers will love you as an involved parent! Enjoy your evening.
