Today we woke up to rain. We really did need it. My veggie garden is appreciative

Last time I told you about the soccer tournament there was suppose to be 600 teams, well there were 956 teams. I couldn't believe it!! The beaches were packed. I did benefit from it though, I have a nice brown tan!!! My son did great! He scored in one of the games. I was screaming so loud, with excitement, I almost peed my pants. It was amazing to me how great they all did considering they play in bare feet in loose sand. They played a total of three games so needless to say, they were exhausted. Over all it was a fun weekend.

The other night on TV there was a show that Shaq was doing for childhood obesity. It was really good. All his info is on-line as well. This one girl was 14 yrs. old and weighed in at 283. She had 50% body fat I felt so sad for her. Her mom didn't ever want her to go out because she was afraid for her and so she stayed in and ate and ate. Maybe that mom should take a walk with her and do other activities w/ her. So sad.

Well today started TOM. UGH!!! I hate it. The weight goes up a bit, my girls are like $%^&!! and I am tired. Other then that all is well.

My niece is getting married in December, so I am hoping to be down in weight some more so I can get a nice dress. The reception is at this snazzy place, so I'll need a snazzy dress.
