This morning around 10am I am taking Kayla over to the High School for Field Hockey sign ups/physical exam. I talked to the coach about practices. They practice all week from 2:15-3:45 and they have games 2 to 3 times a week. The season ends in late October. I told Kayla she'll be one fit mama. She's excited though.
Yesterday~
The kids and I did go to Barne's and Nobles to read for a while. Aaron was so funny. He said I can't read there are too many things distracting me. LOL! It was really crowded for some reason. I assume because in our school district the children have to read a book during summer break and do a report on it before returning to school. Yeah! Not.
We also went shopping for soccer cleats. Aaron says now he will be able to run super fast like Dash in the Incredibles. The things he comes up with
Gotta love it.
Scott and I went to the gym after he was done work. It was a good work out.
Elliptical~30 min.....310 calories
Weights and machines~ 20 min....187 calories.
That allowed me to have a small piece of the blueberry cobbler I made It was so yummy! We topped it off w/ fat free whipped cream.
Today we are going to chill a little. Kayla is going to a campground w/ her friend. Just over night. So she'll have fun. Jacob and Aaron will hang w/ me We may just go to the park. They have so much fun there.

Field hockey is such a physical sport! I never did any sports, mostly because I wasn't any good at any of them..lol But i was a good spectator..
:) Whenever I join something online and I need a user ID, I usually use Graceralph, just like your Dawnscott. Gotta love da boys!

:) Field hockey sounds like a lot of fun. We don't have that around here. High school football and volleyball practices will be starting up soon, and I'm sure kids have been playing baseball, softball, and soccer all summer. You'd think with the success of the Dallas Stars in recent years, hockey - field or ice - would be getting more popular in Texas! Anyway, have fun getting Kayla signed up and enjoy the park if you go.

How old is Kayla? Field hockey 90 min a day all week sounds like AWESOME exercise! I miss those days in HS when I was involved in organized sports all year. Such a fun way to exercise and so many great memories as well
