Jacob woke up this morning and most of the pox are scabbed over. Thank God. He is barely itching, which is a good thing.This Saturday we are having a BBQ and having 36 people here. It will be fun! All my sisters and their family will be here. My parents and Scott's parents and sister and her hubby and a couple of Scott co-workers. We'll have a yard full

Hi Everyone. We were on vacation so I haven't been on CK. Just a bit busy too.On Vacation my eating was....awful! I only gained 1 pound. Thank God. We actually came home early....1. because of the rain!! and 2. because Jacob came down with the chicken pox!! He even got the shot??? Anyway, the poor kid was itching so bad. I have been putting him in an oatmeal bath. He says that is helping. We are glad it happened before school starts

Hi All. My mom is doing ok. She is now in therapy for awhile.The doctor said he can not repair her drop foot because the nerve damage is so severe
Oh course she is ticked about that. Rightly so. Anyway, we just hope this time around the knee replacement is successful.We are going on a mini vacation. I can't wait! We need to get away. It will be fun. We are going to Lancaster, PA for 5 days. The weather is suppose to be nice....that's a bonus.

Short again today.We went to church last night. The worship was great!!
We are headed down to see my mom. She is hanging in there. Tomorrow she leaves the hospital and goes to the rehab hospital for a week. I truly hope she recovers well. The doctor said they can't fix her drop foot because the nerve damage is so severe

Hi All.Today it will be short and sweet.
My mom is having surgery(again) today. She is having her knee replaced. She had it done 1.5 years ago and the doctor screwed it up bad! So she is going to a great hospital and having it done again. This time this docotr said after she goes through physical therapy she will not be in any pain. The first time around the doctor actually cut a nerve and she has a hung foot. It's crazy. She is in a lot of pain all the time. The new doctor took x-rays a...
