Hi All. My mom is doing ok. She is now in therapy for awhile.
The doctor said he can not repair her drop foot because the nerve damage is so severe
Oh course she is ticked about that. Rightly so. Anyway, we just hope this time around the knee replacement is successful.
We are going on a mini vacation. I can't wait! We need to get away. It will be fun. We are going to Lancaster, PA for 5 days. The weather is suppose to be nice....that's a bonus.
Well the soccer season has officially begun. My boys both have practices during the week and Aaron's games are on Saturday and Jacob's are on Sunday. They love it and we love watching them.
Well we found out that Kayla is not allowed to play field hockey She has a mild blood disorder and the oncologist said she didn't want Kayla to play. I do understand. Of course we want Kayla to be safe, it's just a bummer. She is going to be a part of the kids worship team at church and she still plays the violin. So, she'll have some things to do.
Well I have to go and clean up a bit.

Poor Kayla. I know it's disappointing for her, but there's so much to see and do and read and play ... I'm sure she'll expand her interests 10-fold and get involved in some really cool activities in no time. // Sorry about your mom. Hope the knee surgery goes smoothly!

I can understand how your mom feels, but hopefully the surgery will make other things 100 times better. Kayla will find something else to do...she sounds so busy anyway. I am sure she is "bummed" but you can't take any chances. I don't know when you are going on vacation, but have a great time. It's fun to get away!! I'll be going away for a couple of days with some friends (Sunday to Tuesday) and it's just the girls so it should be a good time...
