View DAWNNSCOTT's food & exercise for this day
This woman at church has a son who has been serving in Iraq and unfortunately got badly hurt. He is 21. A remote bomb hit him and he lost both legs and the 4 fingers on his left hand. Anyway, he is finally able to come home

YEAH!!! They are having a welcome home parade tonight. I am so excited for him and his family. We are planning to go. I truly don't really know them but I know what he did for us, so it's only right to go and welcome him home. My nephew, we believe is in Germany now and on his way back to the U.S. He also is 21 and had been hurt but thank God not as severe. So we are just wanting to see him and are very excited. It's been over a year since he's been over there. So pray for our troops people!!!
I haven't been able to blog for awhile. I have been working(cleaning houses) 3 to 4 days a week while the kids are at school. Then of course there's running the kids here and there. So at 8pm I am pooped. I am just exhausted. UGH! So I hope everyone is doing well. I hope to get on this weekend and play catch up.
Love to all
6:55pm~
We went to see Ray, the soldier who came back from Iraq. It was so great to see him and know that he is alive. All I can do is cry. He sat there in the car w/ NO legs and No fingers on his left hand and he smiled and waved to everyone. My heart just goes out to him. The parade was amazing!! There were hundreds out there to see him. That is how it should be. Pray that the rest of our soldiers come home too

Our troops deserve to be home! I just hate it when I hear stories like this.. and there are so many, many injured young men and women from this horrific, ill-planned war. Gosh, when will it end? I have a neighbor whose boyfriend is in Irag -- He is 38 -- not a child. We worry about him every day. He is supposed to be coming home on 10/15 So close...I hope your nephew comes home soon! Praying for peace and the speedy return of all our troops. Take time for yourself Dawn... Grace

So sad about the boy hurt in Iraq. Thank God that he is still alive. I know what you mean about busy. My saving grace is that I have a computer at school to play on.
:eyebrows: Take care and have a lovely day and weekend.
