Good morning all.
Last night our class went well at church. We are really enjoying the study. It has helped me to have a different mind set. Which I needed.
Halloween~
I have to say this. I am the room mom in Aaron's class. So I called the parents this week to ask for help. So most of them were glad to send things in. Then I called this one family. OMGosh. This dad ripped me a new $&*(!! I was like dude I just wanted to know if you were able to help at the party. He only needed to say, we do not participate in Halloween. I would have understood. Then I had this other mom say, I am not crafty at all. Give me something very easy to bring in.
Anyway, I got really neat ideas off of FamilyFun.com
Scott is doing so much better. I am so happy about that. There's nothing worse then seeing someone you love so much be hurting so bad
It was just breaking my heart. I told him this is just something else to get through. We've been together 15 1/2 years and got through lots of hard times and came out stronger. So this is no different.
Well I have to go and get my house work done before I go and clean someone else's.

I never understand what's wrong with people sometimes! And what is wrong with Halloween? It's about imagination and fun to the kids, not about devils and witchcraft! It makes me so mad hoe literal people can be! My friend's nephew goes to a catholic school in Old Bridge, NJ. Every year they do something called "Trunk or Treat" for the whole school instead of individual classroom parties. Many parents volunteer to come to the school in the afternoon. They park their cars decorated for halloween and it becomes a little car village in the parking lot. Instead of going "door to door" for trick or treating they go "car to car" for "trunk or treating!" I love that idea!! You know who's giving out the treats and it's a safe environment. The best of both worlds!!!

Sorry you got a bad reaction from one of the dad's. You never know what is truly going on with people. I hope Scott continues to do better. How could he not with your love, support and affirmation. You are a complete doll!

Bless you for being your son's room mom! I always admire people who commit that kind of time, and I'm just a tiny bit jealous their bosses don't fire them for taking off in the middle of a work day. LOL
