View DAWNNSCOTT's food & exercise for this day

Today is a new day:)
Yesterday was a bad food day. I did work out with Jillian from Bigget Loser. Boy she's tough but good. Thank God for digital cable. I have options. Anyway, that was my saving grace after the bad lunch I had yesterday.

Well, soccer season has officially started for my boys. Last week was soccer camp. Now we are practicing and Jacob(10) has another camp then 2 days a week practice plus games. Aaron(6) has 2 nights a week practices too. The only problem is they practice in different towns. UGH! We'll see how this is going to work.

Saturday we are taking the kids to Dorney Park. It is going to be so fun! It's a waterpark/amusement park. Fun Fun Fun!
My boys are spending the night at my SIL's this weekend so I think Scott and I may take our daughter, Kayla(13 1/2) to see Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2.
I think it's so important to have seperate dates with your children. Especially when they are teenagers:)

Anyway, school starts the first week in September. We are trying to enjoy what's left of our summer.

Scott is taking me away for a weekend the end of August. I know nothing. He said it is all a surprise. I can't wait! I am biting at the bit to know what it is & where we are going.

Well, it feels good to be back. I was stuck in a bad rut for quite awhile. Not good:(

Have a great day.
Be blessed!

Thanks, Dawn! I don't have the bad knees (yet) but I have had pain in them from cycling before. What I really hated, possibly scared me was the "now get up out of the saddle' command. I know people ride bikes that way and especially up hill. But that skinny bike on the floor ... and big tall me standing up ... I dunno. Years ago my dad bought my mom a Nordic track. She stood on it for 3-seconds before she was screaming to get off of it. I felt that way yesterday on that little bike; unsure. Thanks for visiting!! :smile1:.

thanks for your comment :hi: we're definitely making progress so I'm hoping our appointment tomorrow is uneventful, save for our midwife telling us we're further dilated. a weekend away sounds like a great surprise from the beau.

Hi Dawn,

I totally understand the whole sport schedule! Our boys just finished swim team and now they are practicing for football. I have class two nights a week my hubby is studying for his masters so he has class two nights a week, we have football, and i am an active PTA parent and we have started meeting already! Crazy!

We all fall off sometimes just jump back on track and never look back! Sounds like you have fun weekend and surprise trip planned! Enjoy you deserve it!
