Sunday, Nov 26 2006 - Metabolism Screw Up

So this AM, I weighed myself and somehow weighed 261.8. The last time I "worked out" was Thanksgiving morning and I really didn't consider that a work out cuz it was only 15 - 20 minutes. Anywho, I mean, even through THANKSGIVING I still weighed 263.8 the next day. It doesn't seem to make much sense to me. I don't know if I should take it in stride or what. I know I'm anxious to get back to the fitness center and work out because I haven't worked out in almost nearly 2 weeks. I don't know if my Metabolism is just up or what. What I do know is I miss working out and I am so ready to get back in the weight room and do some good old fashioned cardio, get my blood pumpin, and keep losing! I've been dropping a lot of weight and I've actually been eating more also. I don't know if maybe that's the cause also, but I really have felt pretty good! My new job has me doing a lot of lifting and climbing up ladders so maybe that has been contributing somehow. Who knows. I'm still aiming at 256 lbs by Saturday, December 16 (the day I leave for VA) but if I don't make it, well, as long as I'm still losing I won't be upset. This journey has been awesome thus far and I STILL have no reason to quit!

Wonderful job on the weight loss!
:clap: Try not to stay away from the gym too long because it's all that exercise that has played a significant role in speeding up your metabolism even at a resting level. BTW Great pics!
