What a day and its not even over!! So this AM, I woke up around 9 and I felt lazy just laying in bed, so I decided to go work out to get it out of the way so i wouldn't have any excuses for not doing it later. I did 40 mins on the elliptical and, as always, i PUSHED IT TO THE LIMIT! I have been loving the elliptical lately!! It was a great "run" nonetheless. Then, I came back and ate ham, eggs, & toast for breakfast & it was OH SO YUMMY! I went to class and nearly fell asleep (it was the boringest thing ever). THEN! after I class, me and ex went to pick up my check from Aldo (they STILL did not change my pay - i've given up on them - thank God tonight is my last night), and then went to cash that. SO GET THIS! Me and ex got into it because ex acted like it was a hassle to go with me to get the car fixed. I'm intimidated by those places so I really wanted someone to go with me. Anywho, after I noticed ex's attitude, I dropped ex's ass off at home and went on my merry way. NO! But GET THIS! So before he got out, I was like, can I get some $$ to help with the car?! BASTARD GAVE ME $20!!!!! Oh if you thought you were getting anything good from me, you've got me twisted. My generosity switch is officially off. GOT THAT?!?!?! So anywho, I went to the car place and I was a nervous wreck!!! The guy told me that my new coil (that i just got last year) was not sparking so i had to get it replaced. All together it only came up to $225 (with my 10% discount - yay). I only had $150 so my mommy let me charge the rest to her credit card. I was so blessed. I tried calling my dad but he didn't answer. Oh well. So once the guy finished test driving, I had to drive to the ATM really quick to get some cash to finish paying the guy, and when I got back, the car shut off!! So I'm like, "excuse me, my car just shut off while I was driving it. Can you please fix that?!" Well the guy forgot to take off a rubber band so that the sparks could do something, so they fixed that and then he drove it again and MY BABY SOUNDS BRAND NEW!!!! Oh, so one more thing about the car! So when it was time to pay the guy, I realized I was short by like $1.00. So I went to my car and emptied all my change and he was just like, "give me what you have and don't worry about the rest". I was like, WHAT A SAINT! Some people would be like, "f*** you, pay me!" It was cute, I felt like such a broke college student scronging for change to pay the mechanic. LoL Needless to say I think they did a great job. It only took about an hour and a half. I was talking to my car on the way home like, "oh baby, anything you need, mama's here for you". i'm so happy my baby is fixed. Mind you, i'm broke as hell now, but at least my baby is fixed. AND - ITS A 3 DAY WEEKEND!! Holla at MLK day. So now i'm just going to chill until I have to go to Aldo again (with a bad attitude) and then ITS THE WEEKEND! YAY!!! I hope this weekend is fabulous.
