242.8 at today's weigh-in! WaHoo!! I'm excited to be back on track! Soon enough, I'll break into the 230s! One day at a time, Denita. One day at a time. Weigh-in probably woulda been better if i hadn't shared some nachos (my kinda nachos, not like uber-fat Taco Bell nachos) & a bowl of Cap'n Crunch, but I'm still content with 242! I'm also sure that some was water retention since yesterday was a fairly high salt day. Lately I've gotten kinda lax on watching the salt. I think watching too much can get kind of overwhelming. But this weekend, I am determined to 1)NOT DRINK and 2)STAY ON THE COURSE. My weekends have been the problem lately. I'm going to do it!

Valentine's day is coming up and I'm feeling fairly ambivalent. It would be nice to have a Valentine, but it doesn't really bother me all that much. I will never forget in the 8th grade I was SO UPSET I didn't have a Valentine, I cried in my mom's bedroom listening to Savage Garden "Truly, Madly, Deeply" on VH1, so my mom took me to get ice cream, and attempted to tell me that V-Day isn't "all that". Awww, love my momz. I dunno, I guess i should be happy I don't have to spend money on anyone! I might by my family V-day cards. Just because i love them. They are my real Valentines!

I was walking to work today, and I saw the CUTEST guide dog. Sometimes, I really want to be ignorant and rude and pet them because the dogs are so irresistable, but then I have to remember I'm not that stupid and just casually walk by as if I never though to interrupt that dog at work. I dogs. I had a dog named Bo Bo (which I'm sure you've heard of numerous times) and he died my senior year and I want another dog friend, unfortunately, none can replace my BoBo. My friends always make fun of me because I say he was gay (I'm pretty sure he was). I don't care what they say, I accepted my dog for what he was. If another man dog made him happy, then dammit I shoulda found him a man dog. Awww. I hope my next dog isn't all uber manly, I like my man dogs a little soft.
