Today has been a fairly good day. I woke up this morning and ran some errands with one of my friends. After that, she insisted on going to the girls basketball game so she treated me to Wendy's (what a treat, right?!). I did pretty well though! I got a small chili, a 5 piece chicken nugget, and a water. Not bad, not bad. After that, we went to the girl's game and it kinda made me miss the basketball days but i'm also really glad that i have time to do what i want now and i'm not using all of my time to play basketball. So it was fun nonetheless.

After the game my brother met me at my apartment so he could do laundry. He's going to New Orleans for spring break to help rebuild so OF COURSE big sis comes to the rescue. He and I ran some errands (which was cool) and he even bought me a few groceries :thumbu2: . It's always great to spend time with my brothers. They are fantastic. They are turning 21 on Monday :bigeyes3: I can't believe they're going to be legal . It's a scary thought, considering my one brother drinks 40s for fun. Yea, it's a college thing and i know he'll grow out of it...eventually. After a certain point, getting drunk is all the same. There's only so much "goodness" - if any - that can come out of it. I still like to have moments sparingly, but I also know how to act, whereas he acts like its the first time every time. Oh well. Gotta :love: em. Now, me and my bros are going to be the same age for four weeks until my birthday! (Me and my bros are only 11 months apart and they are twins). I am still kinda in disbelief that I'm getting older. I dunno how i feel it. :cry4:

Anywho, back to today. So after my bro did all his laundry, I dropped ex off at work and then i went to the fitness center to work out. At first, I thought it would be a sucky workout because i was having a problem getting in the flow on the Arc Trainer. Eventually, I got into it and 45 minutes went by without a problem. After that, I challenged myself to do 15 minutes on the treadmill so that i could have 60 mins of Cardio under my belt. Well, I started off and walked the first 5 minutes on 4.0 (I used to walk on 3.7 :thumbu2: ) then I proceed to jog for [gasp] 8 MINUTES!!! I was so proud of myself. I think I definitely could have run 10 minutes if I hadn't just done 45 minutes on the Arc Trainer, but it was an awesome feeling!Sure, it was only on 5.2, but that was jogging to me. Sooner than later I'll be able to up it to 5.5, and then 6.0. It felt great. After I walked the last 2 minutes, I did some ab work (because this tire around my waist is starting to annoy me) and then I left. I think I'm going to start making Saturday workouts mandatory because they are usually my favorite workouts. The gym is empty and it's just so much better. :clap:

For dinner, i attempted Monica's idea of baked fried chicken with the fiber one cereal. It turned out OK, i need to figure out how to get the cereal ALL THE WAY AROUND (well, i think i know how) and possibly how to get the cereal to stick better. It was still good though. The honey taste to the chicken was bangin. I also steamed raw broccoli for the first time which turned out fairly well and some brown rice w/spray butter & sugar :thumbu2: I wanted a fairly light dinner considering I hadn't eaten according to plan earlier. It's OK. I think I made some pretty good choices.

Today's blog is UBER boring. There's absolutely no personality in it tonight. I think I'm just sore and tired. Tomorrow (or Monday) I'll be back with the brand new fLaVa!!!
