8:15pm
I'm so stinkin proud of myself! So today, I decided to take some of the advice I got yesterday. So, I decided that the Arc Trainer was
not going to be my main exercise.
IF I AM GOING TO RUN 3.1 MILES, I NEED TO TRAIN DOING 3.1 MILES!!! So I decided to do 45 mins on the tready, and by the end of 40 minutes (minus the 5 minute cool down) I wanted to have completed 3.1 miles. Well, I was at 3.1 at
exactly 39:00 and by the end of the workout, I had done 3.49 miles!!!!

I've NEVER done that in my life! I really pushed myself and at the end, I was uber proud of myself. This 5K actually feels doable now. I am going to change up my routine now - On MTW, I'm going to do 45 min tready/15 Arcy and on TThS I'm going to do 45 min Arcy/20 min tready.

I'm getting uber excited about this race! I'm so glad I did this today. I feel inspired.
Yesterday, I had the worst cramps so I was pretty much in bed all day yesterday. I felt like death so I laid my dead a$$ in bed
all day. Somehow, this AM the scale was 223.6 so I may weigh in tomorrow, but it really depends on the number on the scale.
Hopefully, my computer will be fixed by Friday! I am super pumped. These guys came to fix it but they couldn't get the fan off so they said they'd have to come back. Bastards. They kept cursing my computer and I was getting kinda sensitive. It's not my fault you didn't bring your stinkin tool kit! Dummies. Excuse my language, they just frustrated me. So, hopefully I will be back in action and out of these damn computer labs by Saturday AM!
Well, tonight I'm on duty and i should probably do some programming stuff because I have been SLACKING! I just saw an ant crawling on my shoulder. I think I'm going to quarantine myself in my room. :barf: Later!!
earlier...
Not going to say too much - I have a lot to do today. Just wanted to stop by and say

to all my lovelies here! Hope everyone's day is going fabulous!!

I miss ya'll!!
Be back later...

Great job on your training! Btw about your question re treadmill vs outside, I still do most of my runs on the TM but try to get outside on the weekend if the weather is nice. I always tire faster outside, mostly because I'm still "new" and I find it harder to pace myself (cuz there is no little light to tell me exactly how fast my feet are moving) but I ALWAYS end up with a faster pace time outside. I am still blown away at how fast I finished my first 5k -- you will surprise yourself with the adrenaline and all when race day comes.
 My only suggetsion about race day is to not eat a lot of sodium and fats the day before.
