So, I just gotta have some girl talk right now. OK, so now that Lauren and I aren't together, I've decided to kinda just "chill", and maybe see what else is out there and be completely open-minded.

So I met this guy.

I met him over the summer and he was actually my resident. He was working here and I didn't really pay him much attention unless we were outside smoking and we'd have small talk but ya know, we still became friends and kept in touch. He worked here over the summer, but he goes to school in Chicago.

Well, over Christmas break, he and I started talking over AIM and we realized that there was potential for something to be there. When I got back on Friday, me, three of my CA friends and him went to the bar to just hang out. Well, he ended up coming back to my place that night. (nothing naughty, no worries).

Well, yesterday he called me and invited me over to his friends house to watch the OSU game (who, as usual, bit the dust) and at first I declined because I was worried I wouldn't know anyone there. Well, it turned out one of my other friends was going so I asked if I could tag along and when I got there, he was so happy to see me. He stood next to me the whole time, saved my seat when I went to the bathroom (yea, i had a few beers lol) and - as the night progressed - we were touching more and canoodling more and I invited him back to my place. Usually, it takes me a while to open up emotionally, but last night I just laid there and spilled the beans on my life. And he was just so sweet. Like the sweetest ever. Well, long night later and long story short , he asked me out for dinner and a movie tomorrow

Now, it's been four years since I've been out with a guy so I was uber nervous, but he makes me feel so comfortable and he's so sweet and sensitive and I love it. He's probably one of the most amazing guys I've ever met and I'm so excited for our date tomorrow. I really feel like I found a keep and, even though he lives in Chicago, I think something could happen.

Needless to say, I'm so happy right now and I just wanted to gloat.
