Yo yo yo...So sorry my last one was so short. I had just gotten these new acrylic nails an I was having a hard time adjusting to them so I didn't feel like typing with all the clickety clack. SO! With all that said:

So, I went home for Valentine's Day because Lauren had just gotten out of the hospital and the doctors told her it wasn't a good idea to travel. Well, as soon as I got there, we went to the store and she kept making these remarks about my pockets, which was weird because I mean, really, who pays attention to pockets?! Anywho, so first she says "Why are your hands in your pockets? Are you trying to hide something?" I'm like, "um no?!" So, anywho, when we're on our way back to the car she says "Why do you have so much in your pockets?" And I'm like "What's your fascination with my pockets?!" So I put my hands in to see what the hell she's talking about and I notice there's a box in it that I certainly didn't come with. I open the box and see a two-stone ruby ring with diamonds on the side (per her, the two stone ruby heart ring represents "two hearts combining into one soul" And as soon as I look at her, she asks me "Will you marry me?" and of COURSE I said, "Um, YEAAAAA" So needless to say, it was a pretty fantastic Valentine's day.

Other Lauren news
So, once I started telling people we were engaged, a lot of people were just kinda weary like "are you sure about this?" and blah blah blah. Lauren and I talk all the time about how are relationship has been in the past (our nasty, painful fights, substance issues, etc.) and we have made so much growth in the past few months its ridiculous. We both are sober now and we communicate so much better now. Honestly, I haven't been this happy in ages! I guess when people question our relationship, all I can say is that we've been to hell and back, and through EVERYTHING we still manage to find each other and keep working at it until we get it right. When we have nothing left, at the end of the day we still have love & each other. We have both worked so hard for our relationship because, to be honest, I just feel like we were meant for each other. Yea we get on each other's nerves and we don't always see eye to eye, but we try and we listen and we've learned that yelling and substance and all the other hurtful stuff isn't helping us stay together. So, it hasn't been an easy road but I am so in love and so happy.

On a side note, she came down to see me this weekend (against Dr's orders) and we had an amazing weekend. We really are like each other's best friend that when we aren't acting like an old married couple, we're cracking up laughing or finishing each other's sentences or saying what the other person has on their mind (kinda creepy). Last night, we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning just listening to old songs and reminiscing and talking about us. I made her watch two hours of "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" yesterday and it was kinda fun/annoying. I don't think she'll be very much help. It's a Catch 22.

I've also been thinking about starting a family and I'm nervous. I feel like I may be too fat to get pregnant. Anyone who knows anything about being fat and pregnant, your wisdom is greatly appreciated!

My brothers turn 22 on Wednesday, and I now is the dreaded four-week period when we're all the same age. I hate it! I can't wait til my birthday. Lauren's throwing me a bbq and then we're going wine tasting. I can't wait! Geez, it seems like I sure do talk a lot about Lauren. Oh well. Oh and I should be done with school in November. HALLELUJAH!!! I've never been so anxious to finish something in my liffffeeeeee. Im ready to move on.
