So I weighed myself the other day and it said 280. I was pretty upset, but at the same time I wasn't. I don't look as big as the last time I weighed 280. I feel fat, but not FAT FAT. I know how to lose weight, and when the time comes, I am going to focus and lose at least 40 - 50 lbs. Besides, my wedding is coming quicker than I know and I don't want to be a moo moo bride. We've set the date for October 10, 2009 and I can't wait. I've found a few dresses online that I like but I'm not going to be to ecstatic until we get the church and reception hall set. I found a church that does gay weddings and from what I've seen online it is gorgeous. It's the reception that's going to cost the googles of money. Gross. It's worth it though. Lauren has moved to Dayton with me and, although we have a - fiery - relationship, it's amazing and I'm very happy. I know that she and I probably will need some therapy just to make sure some loose ends are together, but I have never felt so strongly and so sure of someone before. I'm also about to graduate in four months - granted I pass all of my classes - which I will if I just stop being lazy. So I'll be Denita, B.A. by the end of November. I want to go to Vegas as a graduation present, but I figure I should probably save up for the wedding which I believe we will be paying for ourselves. Most parents don't want to fund a gay wedding. Anywho, I'm fat, but I'm happy. And that's just how it is! I miss the friends I made here. I probably could've done a better job of keeping in touch, but life got the best of me. Anywho, maybe once I get back on the plan I'll be around more. Later!

10/10 is going to be here before you know it. Don't sweat the small stuff. Focus on what needs to be taken care of in the here and now. No sense stretching yourself too thin. Good luck with your classes! IMO - a wedding is a wedding whether the bride is marrying a man, a woman or an ostrich. It's a time for celebration! You guys have found each other and vow to be there for each other til death do you part. That is what matters.

Congrats on the engagement and the graduation! I am so glad to hear you guys are doing so well, and that you're so happy (odd that that's when we seem to gain the most weight, isn't it?). October is a great month for weddings; we got married on the 11th.
