So last week, I was really FEELING fat. Most often I don't feel my size. I feel like me. But last week, I just felt like I was carrying a sandbag around my waist. It was discouraging.
Well, I actually woke up 5 days in a row to do some basic weight lifting and spend time on a treadmill. Within a few days, that feeling dissipated. I don't know where it came from, but I'm feeling much better, and way more determined. CK says we don't have to work out to lose weight, but it seems to really and truly make a difference for me.
I hope to run a mile straight soon. I am doing a lot of walk/jogging and pouring with sweat so far. Feels great. I'm increasing time and speed each time, too.
The holidays are coming fast and furious and I'm certain that staying active will be what makes this year survivable for me. I'm pretty determined to work out Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year's Eve. Puts a whole new focus on my actions and eating.
