I started out the day eating three servings of strawberry cream cheese streudle for breakfast. I'm thinkin to myself "Ok, no sweat, one huge amount of calories...but I've still got the whole day to adjust how I eat. Lunch was typical for me. But then came the evening meal!!! (please insert horror music here) My hubby and I went out to a huge lake about an hour from home and we decided to go to this little hole in the wall restaurant for supper (dinner). This place makes their food from scratch and let me tell you it was heavenly!!! I had the smallest cheeseburger they make - which the menu said was 3/4 pound. It came with homemade fried potato chips! Then to add some brainlessness to misery I had a piece of their fresh homemade coconut cream pie!! As I sat there eating it I told myself it was worth every calorie! But I'm telling you - as good as all the food was - I was completely miserable! My tummy was WAY overfull and my brain started beating me up for making such poor choices!
A headache (probably from all the sugar in that pie!) resulted in no exercise in the evening and completed the whole dismal picture!!
Yep, a total meltdown...that's what it was...but I've decided I'm not going to let one horrible day ruin everything I've worked so hard for...I'm moving on...today is a new day!
