I started Crossfit last night. I have two more "On Ramp" sessions to do, and all I can say is I'm glad I was at the gym all this time because if I wasn't, I would be in serious trouble with this thing. I didn't struggle(I mean to say, I struggled but it wasn't awful and I didn't die) with it like I saw a lot of the other women doing, but there are things that I just could not do. Hiatus

I was sick for a week, then I was on a religious retreat for a week. And I came home last night and weighed myself this morning and in 2 1/2 weeks time I GAINED 3 pounds. So back to the gym tomorrow and those long walks that I love. My cross fit class starts in a couple of weeks so I really need to get on the ball and prepare for those in a serious way.

Walking my ass off (literally)

I've not taken the time to log my calories for the last few days, I just got busy and didn't do it. But I'm still eating clean and I lost some more weight so I'm down to 234. I'm working really hard and I took some shirts and skirts out of my closet and some of them fit (yay!!) And some of them dont (yet) and I'm getting results. It's so freaking amazing.

I'm getting sick though and I feel like crap. I was going to walk today but I dont know if that will happen. I thought about the gym...

everyday is a good day

I lost another pound.

Every night when I go to bed and see the green check I know that day was a successful day, that I'm doing everything right. I dread that gym time, but when I'm done and stretching out afterwards, I feel....relieved and so satisfied. Those long ass walks "around the block" down country roads that are grueling but damn, when I'm in the bathtub soaking out the leg cramps, I'm so happy. Every ache and pain is worth it. I'm moving. I mad it through the 240's and I weighed in at 238. Yay me! Persistence pays off in spades and I'm so grateful this is working.

I think I FINALLY figured out a schedule for when the kids go back to school. Well....at least until the end of October when I start Crossfit

Monday- C25K and 45 minute walk on the treadmill at home

Tuesday- gym day

Wednesday- long walk day (4+ miles)

Thursday- gym day

Friday- C25K and 45 min walk on the treadmill

Sat OR Sun- gym...
