View HAPPYJO's food & exercise for this day

Aaahhh, I have less than 1 hr left of work and then a 3 day weekend to look forward to LOVE IT!!!!!!!
But ... this weekend will pose some problems for myself. Seeing as its Easter, and my family deserted me (1/2 is in Mexico and the other 1/2 is going spring skiing) my friends mother invited me over. Now this woman has a penchant for LARGE meals and even LARGER dessert trays ... and she has this thing where her feelings get hurt if you don't eat her food. Seriously. Argh, BUT the day before I'm going to play laser quest so that equals lots of running and shooting which will be fun. And as long as I can practice even a miniscule amount of self discipline on Sunday I should be o.k. **fingers crossed**
ALSO the best news, this guy I work with won 2 tickets to see Snow Patrol in a "special booth" (which is good seeing as its rush seating) and he's taking ME! YAY!! Ever since that song of theirs made me cry on Grey's Anatomy I've been hooked. So that’s on Monday and as a nice gesture I'm taking him out for sushi before the concert for being such a sweet guy and taking me!!!
So as long as I can make it through this weekend without doing too much damage to myself via the Laser Quest and food, I should be good.
(Oh did I forget to mention that the week after the Snow Patrol concert my friend is forcing me to go see Il Divo she was like its 10th row I can't pass it up!!!! So ... there’s that as well ... Hhhmm it should be fun to see the difference between the concerts.)

You must be talking about chasing cars. I'm just guessing. That would actually be a very rewarding..yet dangerous workout....to chase cars. I'm sorry for the goofy A sense of humor that I have right now.

I just got a puppy, and keeping up with him has me kind of spaced-out.

I know what you mean about getting invited to a house where they serve huge 7 course meals. My wife is Italian, and her mother does it all the time. There will be enough food to feed an army, and she will say "I'm sorry I didn't make very much". I ate as healthy as I could.

Anyway, enjoy the concert....:)

I think there might be QUITE a difference between those two... I recommend taking small portions of "Mom"s food and spreading it thin on the plate so it looks like more...
