I guess I could have gone with a little T.G.I.F. up there ... but I felt like I needed to put it all in there. This week has been quite a busy one. I'm hoping it's becuase we're all over our holidays and that it will simmer down after this week again.

So instead of Aquacize on Tuesday we ended up doing a "deep water workout" and HOLY CRAP!!! I have never done one of those before but it was a HARD workout. Not to mention the fact that the instructor kept telling me eerything I was doing wrong while praising my mother. I'm going to stick with it and hopefully it will get easier. **fingers crossed**

Wednesday was Yoga and after I had made fun of my friend and his potential to forget his Yoga Kip, it turns out I had left mine at home. So after a mad 20 minute dash we run into Yoga ... not the best mind frame goign into it. But I ended up rather calmed so that's always a high five.

Yesterday I went for more sushi with my friend who has been down in the dumps lately. I want to help her out but I have nothing for her. She wants to meet guys and I don't know where girls go to do that. I met the boy at work ... and thusly have no ideas. Any of you ladies know of any good places to meet the opposite sex? But I think the sushi cheered her up some, so that was good.

Tonight we have decided to splurge on a really good steak house. I'm pretty pumped and had soup for lunch this afternoon to save calories!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Emu's ideas are great. I met my boy at work too and I think that tends to be a good place to meet. What about bars that aren't so bar-like? Like tapas bars or sushi bars or martini bars? I don't think girls shoudl go out of their comfort zone to meet boys or else they'll meet boys they are not comfortable with. Thank you for your kind words and help in my journal today (Thurs.) You did give me some reasons that I had not thought of (especially the money). Have a good day you healthy class-taking, sushi -eating diva you!

I tend to hang out in bookstores and comfortable stairs, also bars and cafes. So if your friend is looking for me, that's where I am.

I think most men hang out in bars, but that's not relationship ground. Usually I meet people through mutual friends. There are singles things though, at least in New York. Or through volunteer work? There are a lot of cool people at my volunteer job.
