View HAPPYJO's food & exercise for this day
Good morning all,
Dinner last night was delish. It was some paté chinois ... which I gather is like shepherds pie but with mushrooms instead of tomatoes. When I was younger I lived in Montréal and my babysitter would make this for me all the time. Granted I had to tweak it a little to get as much fat out of there as possible. But it turned out really well I think (this was my first time making it!) And the SO really enjoyed it as well so all in all I would say it was a winner.
Then I got some reading in which is nice ... I seem to have left my current book somewheres ... I'm thinking it's at my friends house. So I got caught up on some magazines that I had lying around. Got my 30 day shred in ... I attempted all the advanced moves ... whether they were done in top form or not is left to be seen ... but I did it!! And I also got some Wii Fit in ... free run it was just a 10 minute run in place. It was good for some elevated heart rate which is always good. Seeing as it's been so long since I've been to the gym ... I have also resolved to get there at least once this week (it looks like it'll be Friday)
Today's docket includes some easy dinner because I am off to deep water workout ... my mom and I go to this together. I enjoy the workout and I'm VERY happy to see her get out and about she has been loosing weight along with me but it has strictly been diet getting some exercise in for her is stellar.
I don't have any pictures of the hair ... I'm going out with my bestie this weekend I will see if I can get some pictures taken then.
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

"Real" pâté chinois doesn't have mushrooms in it, it's ground beef and onions, then corn, then mashed spuds and a sprinkle of paprika on top. But I always improvise and add other veggies to mine. Screw tradition! :p
;) because the cooks that worked on crews that built the train tracks across Canada were mostly Chinese, and they cooked that often - it was cheap, filling and easy to make.
