They say "ignorance is bliss" and I will guarantee that if you ignore your scale for two months (or more) like I have you will be as happy as a clam until your pants shrink (surely the dryer heat caused this), and your muffin top starts to rise again... arggghhhhh! Swore this would not happen to me again after losing so much. So, here I am starting again. Happy New Year... happy treadmill=happy scale

Personal Trainer - Worth Every Penny

I have been reluctant to join a gym. I walked into Golds two weeks ago, and worked out with a personal trainer for the first time today. Joy is fabulous. Really pushed me to do a great workout. I can only afford her for five visits, but I know that I will be better for it.

Three days back journaling... three days of running and one in the gym, I am getting back to it.

Really stressful couple of days. New job is proving to be more of a challenge than anticipated. Thank goodness for running... biking... whatever else to work through it. 35 minutes of intense cycling has really put me in a better place tonight. Eating was surprisingly good today despite my mood... tomorrow is another day!

I first must say that anyone within reasonable driving distance to Tallahassee, Florida must run the Palace Saloon 5K on April 10, 2010! Nothing like finishing 3.2 and having a cold beer waiting at the end. I have heard so many people say "YUCK"!!! But, let me tell you there is nothing like it... I will never miss this race again.

So... without further adieu... finishing time: 28:59 (or 29:00 I haven't been able to get the official results yet). Either way... I shaved a ful...

This is not rocket science...

but it is unbelievably difficult for me to get back on this wagon. I up up by a couple of pounds because I don't eat right, and I haven't been running everyday. It is really not hard to do, I just feel too darn tired and am sick of having to work hard to be healthy. Crazy...

Now that is off my chest... let's get to work.
