The first day went well. Having to write everything did make me a more consious eater. Tonight is a four mile run night, so I can eat pretty well for dinner :)!
My water intake is better. Again, consiously drinking water. I also purchased a water holder for my long runs, that should help keep me more hydrated when I need it most.

I rode my bicycle last night for 50 minutes to give the joints a break from all of the pounding. My quads got quite a work out. I saw a two pound drop from all of the water, and watching my calories so carefully. This is definately paying off. Here's hoping for a great run tonight!

Ran 4 great miles tonight. Strangely I was really running, not ambling along barely jogging, but actually running. It was challenging, but attainable. The runs are becoming easier, and I am feeling more confident about the half-marathon.

So, I put on my big-girl panties and mailed off my registration and check. It is a done deal now. My brother and sister-in-law are game now and will be joining me that day. I am so excited. Is that weird? Getting ready to run 13 miles when there was a time that I couldn't run 50 feet... amazing.

I am hoping sleep will come easy tonight.
