Tonight was beautiful. I did three miles of interval training... my 1/4 mile sidewalk chalk was still there. My intervals are the mother of invention... no track, so I took my Garmin Forerunner out to mark my intervals. I pushed myself tonight... it was great, my average interval was 1 min. 56. I am working up to compete in my 5k on the 21st with a solid 8 minute mile. I think that is a bit too optimistic, but I can work hard toward that, and as long as I break my PR for 5k... 30:46.

:hi: another runner!! I need a Forerunner. I do. Whooo hoo for intervals and an 8 minute mile. I have a 10K next weekend and I am nervous. I had been training for a 1/2 but it got cold here for about a month and I couldn't (wouldn't) run outside. Got sick of the TM quick. Intervals definitely help with the speed, too! Keep up the good work!
