Friday, May 16 2008 - Feeling Better

I've made it through three days! I have kept in my calorie range! What's interesting to me is that I don't always feel the need to eat all the time. I think this is strange, since last week I was eating 5 times as much as I needed to be eating. For the past three days, when I feel stressed I open my calorie king page and review my progress, blog, or check others blogs. I'm amazed at what a difference this has made in only three days. I feel better.
1:00 - I ate a larger lunch than usual, Chipotle. I did journal each component of the meal. I have around 400 calories for the rest of the day. This doesn't sound like much, but I'm pretty full right now (I ate at 11:15), so I shouldn't be hungry for a while. It's a friend's birthday today, so I ate a piece of chocolate cake. I'm proud of myself though, I only ate half of a slice. Usually I would eat at least one if not two pieces of cake. Now tonight is going to be the most challenging. The evenings when I am alone are the hardest. I find myself going to the kitchen over and over again to get more food to eat, even though I'm not hungry and may even be super full. Maybe, I'll go get my nails done and take Max for a walk
