I am a week and a half into CK and doing well so far. I need to get a few things as to what I eat under control. Mostly after I get home from work and dinner. Always dinner. That is my biggest problem. I would be happy to break that big dinner mentality we've had for years and years. It's been too many years of fried chicken, pork chops, pizza, meatloafs, mashers, gravy, biscuits, pies, cookies! The list is just endless! Small steps and a few changes along the way and things will be decent. A work in progress to be sure.
I have also been walking alot. Even before CK I would walk a bit. Maybe a mile or a half hour walk. Always a moderate pace. But now I am really going good. Last Saturday I walked for three miles. Took me an hour but I did it! I figured each night I would walk an hour no matter what. It could be slow or fast but either way I'm going to do an hour and no less. Tonight I made it 3.37 miles!

I did 7,917 steps. I am working towards hitting that 10,000th step. Now I look forward to that evening walk instead of dreading it. And I am getting to know more people in my small community after only a few days.
Here's to me and my motivation! I pray it keeps going.
