I woke up to thunder and lightening this morning at 430am. :clap:I hope we get enough rain. There has been no rain for quite some time and the farmers fields are very dry. It smells and feels good outside when it's like this. I don't mind storms at all and find some comfort in them. We get more rain later in the week. The rain will push this heat out of NW Ohio. Yesterday we broke a heat record of 96! Hope we don't do that again anytime soon. Normally I hate the heat but this year so far I'm doing ok...

For the life of me I cannot seem to get myself under 260. I joined CK in early April and have only lost 10 lbs. I know...better than gaining 10. My weight on the scale swings 4 lbs. on any given day. And whats more I have not been disciplined. Monday through Friday I do great for breakfast and lunch. It goes down hill for me after that. I am still drinking too much alcohol also. Had some wonderful mango margaritas! But not so wonderful on the scale. I feel tired and lazy and generally feel like ...

Despite being totally stressed the last couple of days I managed to stay on track! When I get like that the first thing I want to do is eat bad (but very tasty!) things and go get a bottle of good wine to go along with it all. This time I didn't. How hard! Our son had me so upset my stress level has been through the roof! He is 23 and doesn't live at home but yet we are always stuck in his drama. He wanted to come home (yet again). Wow. I consistantly keep blowing it for myself. I put on three pounds since last Monday. I am just going to have to buckle down and stay in that calorie target and keep walking. I always think at the time, "it's okay to eat all the things I made for this cookout. Or it's okay to just splurge on a certain meal when we eat out." No......it's not okay. If you own a treadmill remember the warning on the paper work about NOT walking on it barefoot? I always remembered it yet I did it any way. :bang: I thought it was in case of getting your toe nicked in the belt or some such thing.
