Odd...I posted this on Sunday and it was gone in no time, never to have shown up on the blog page. Censored because I wrote about wine? Not very fair in my book. Nothing illegal, wrong, negative or un-CK about doing that. I'll try again.

Hubby and I started making our own wine back in January. We've already made a few different wines. Our first was our Hot Lips Jalapeno. Next was our elderberry wine which we siphoned into another jug tonight. Had our first taste of that and WOW it is soooo good. We also have in the works some mango pepper. Last week I started a batch of strawberry wine that I think I'll call Strawberry Lush. I think we'll settle down on the production until everything is bottled or almost ready for bottling. Such an exciting hobby! If anyone reading this makes wine I'd like to swap wine recipes and some know how.

Had a nice weekend even though I worked all day Saturday. Took it easy the rest of the day as I was in a lot of pain. Today was grocery shopping day. Plus we played around in the garden. Hubby went fishing Saturday and caught 45 bluegill. I made fish cakes with a nice remoulade sauce to go with them. Corn on the cob too! Other than the garden I hid in the house in the ac. It's pretty warm here in NW Ohio going up into the lower 90's. I was going swimming but that darn pain issue again. Took two days off of exercising. Should be good to go tomorrow.

Did sort of ok on staying within my calories. All week I did great. Blew it Friday night and during Saturday. Today was decent but no exercise to work off what I did eat! Tomorrow is another day. But I am NOT looking forward to my morning weigh in. Sigh.....it will be what it will be.
