Female, age 48, 154 lbs today, 38 percent body fat, 29 BMI

Have issues with hypothyroid, menopause, adrenal, lots of cellulite, low tolerance to stress.

Hi there. I joined 2 weeks ago, and decided to blog about my upcoming 3 month goal to include exericise and show how it will change my body.

Because I have a low threshold for stress, I am going to keep my intensity low to medium, do weights, and walking, nothing crazy....

My body responds to exercise very well as long as I don't overdue it. I watched a BBC documentary on exercise and they now can test genetically for how one responds to exercise. About 20 percent are super responders, 15 percent are non responders, and the rest of the population falls somewhere between these 2. I am convinced from past experience I am a super responder and plan to prove it in the next 3 months while blogging and showing photos of my progress.

Slow and steady wins the race for me.

My plan is to do weights 4 days a week for no longer than an hour including warm up and cool down, and some type of cardio. I walk my dog several times a day too, and just bought a mini trampoline.
I have to change the size of my before photos, I will post them shortly.....

The funny thing about the trampoline is my heart rate stays relatively normal, as I don't really bounce I more like dance on it.

My measurements are 42 bust, 33 inch waist , and 42 inch hips.

My weights are going to be glute centred on every work out, but getting a whole body as well. As you can see from my pictures my butt is my WORST feature and will need lots of attention.

I used to be 241 lbs for several years, I was over 200 for 20 years.

I don't know how to put more than one picture on this blog so I will post more pics on separate blog entries.
I am thinking I will post pictures 1,2 and 3 months to show my improvements.

My diet is already on target, and I don't emotionally eat anymore. I avoid wheat or sugar, and try to limit my starch as I can't lose weight if I eat too much starchy foods.

to be fair, I should state I do have an unfair advantage over most, in that I am not working and have no boyfriend to distract me, and have reduced my stress to almost nil. I go for lymphatic drainage massages, chiropractic adjustments, and I am cleansing for the last 2 months to increase my energy.

I feel my energy and immune system are working good so now is the time to incorporate my regime.

Good luck to all!
