Several years ago, I started drinking diet soda. I love the fizz in soda and when I needed to lose weight after college, I switched to diet because there were no calories. We met some friends for dinner tonight. It's never a good thing when you are looking at the nutritional information (now required for all chain restaurants in CA) and the waiter tells you "don't look at that, you'll only be disappointed". But I found a delicious chicken sandwich with bruchetta and pesto (on the side) that I want to recreate at home to enjoy over and over again. On the road to health

This week has been a turning point. I had to overcome some major obstacles to keep on track and get to the gym like I really wanted to. Little lady peed her pants to show me who is in charge and because she was so excited to go to the gym, I couldn't let her go. Instead little man and I could play dance dance revolution while she had to watch and wasn't allowed to play. The next evening my hubby said I could go to gym to catch Zumba.
