Well, its been a while since I've logged anything on CK. Most importantly, I've been spending my time figuring out what the heck kind of balance I need in my diet to really do well, feel in control and lose. I found this very small local gym that has a boot camp 4 times a week. I've been going for 3 weeks and I've already felt the difference in my body. The nice thing, is that a registered dietitian gave me some helpful ideas for what my day should look like food wise. This has helped me tremendously. I've been eating, healthy and I don't get ravenous and I'm sticking with it. I feel like its completely doable. Building muscle is work and its not friendly to the scale, but, I keep telling myself that ultimately, if I'm full of muscle, it doesn't really matter what the scale says, because the muscle looks better and is better for me than the fat. I can be at my goal, with hardly any muscle, and I wouldn't be any better off. So my focus has been changed to build muscle (first) and the fat burning will come along much faster when I have the muscle to help me burn it.

I've changed my vocabulary from "weight training" to "muscle building" and "cardio" to "fat melting". I can feel the waistline getting smaller and everything in me getting tighter. I get remeasured this week to see how much fat I've burned so far and how much muscle I've gained, so I'm very excited. I know there has been a change.

Back to pre-planning my meals. After 3 weeks with my in-laws in town (who have the craziest and most impossible diet restrictions to try to plan around) I'm ready to get back to the planning of meals and knowing what the day will bring me.
