Sunday, Sep 19 2010 - OMG! Ten days and counting . . .
View KRIS319's food & exercise for this day
Wow! I didn't realize how close my surgery is. This is the fifth day of my pre-surgery liquid diet and it didn't even hit home that there are only 10 more days until my surgery! Wow!
Since today is the fifth day of my full-liquid diet I have been throwing a great big pity party for myself . . . so bored

with cream of wheat, cream soups, pudding and yogurt already. What I wouldn't give for a great big salad or a chicken breast . . . or even a veggie burger. I've been really unmotivated all week. I haven't been doing any housework. I've been neglecting my job and my volunteer work. And worst of all, I haven't been working out. What a goofball I've been.
Well, that's over. I broke down and purchased a HRM so I can really see how hard I'm working when I use my exercise DVDs at home. Already did one mile with Leslie Sansone, but apparently I don't know how to use the HRM (Polar FT6) yet, because while it showed my heart rate it didn't log my exercise or calories burned. Guess I'll have to do another mile.
I'm pretty stressed this weekend with all of the work I blew off last week. This week is going to be a doozy! My boss is in town starting Tuesday - ack! - and I have to get things ready to leave work for about four weeks. I also have a TON of work on the case I am working on as a CASA. The county is going to petittion for temporary custody of the children and I am so far behind on my investigation. This week is gonna be crazy!
I thought I had alot more for this entry, but I'm running out of steam. Oh. Unofficial weight this morning was 337.8. That means I'm eight pounds from my September goal. We'll see. I hope the surgeon notices the seventeen pounds I've lost since I saw her last. She's a toughy!
Namaste friends.

That's it. I've decided. You're my heroine. I'm reading your blog until you unplug this thing. So impressed with your swift weight loss pre-surgery and I'll be thinking of you all day you go in! I'm keeping fingers crossed for you, except when typing, preparing meals, working out, and well, you get the idea. . .

I eat the same thing a lot...every night, fish and steams veggies. Then one day, I just can't eat it anymore.
Congrats on the 17 pounds. That's awesome!
